Simon Segall recently retired after more than 40 years in the investment and pensions business in Canada. Over the course of his career, he has held senior business development, marketing, and client service positions with Canadian and global asset management firms.

Immediately before his retirement, Simon was a Senior Advisor at Chestnut Advisory Group, a management consulting firm that helps investment management companies achieve their growth goals.

Prior to joining Chestnut, he was Vice President & Director, Institutional Relationships with TD Greystone Asset Management, where he was instrumental in using data and technology to successfully drive business development and improve client service.
Before TD Greystone, Simon was the CEO and Head of Sales for BNP Paribas Investment Partners Canada.

Over his career, Simon has helped retail and high net worth investment firms successfully enter the institutional arena, and has consistently grown businesses by tailoring marketing and sales strategies and processes to suit specific distribution channels.
Simon is a Trustee and a member of both the Investment Committee and the ESG Subcommittee of the General Synod Pension Plan of The Anglican Church of Canada, and chairs the Expansion Committee. He is also a member of the Investment Committee at The Atmospheric Fund.

Simon earned a B.Sc. (Honours) in applied mathematics from the University of Alberta, and an M.A. in mathematics from Stony Brook University.
