François Hélou is Head of Balance Sheet Solutions at BMO Global Asset Management where his responsibilities include providing Liability Driven Investing strategies to pension and investment funds across Canada. François has held executive positions and led capital markets groups at several Canadian financial institutions where he was responsible for structuring and marketing cross-asset derivatives solutions for institutional, corporate, and high net worth clients across Canada. In addition to his risk management responsibilities in interest rate, currency, and equity derivatives, François led the Liability Driven Investing initiative within the capital markets division at a major Canadian bank.
François has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Laval University, an MBA from McGill University, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
