ANNA MARIA MASCIOTRA is Assistant General Counsel, Aircraft Financing and Maintenance at Air Canada. In this role, she is responsible for advising Air Canada on all aspects related to the purchasing, financing and leasing of aircraft, engines and spare parts. She also provides advice on Air Canada’s other financing facilities. Anna is a member of the Aviation Working Group (AWG) – Canada group. In 2013, Anna led Air Canada on the financing side on one of the most significant aircraft financing transactions in aviation financing history, the first enhanced equipment trust certificate financing (EETC) outside of the US. Anna holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and an LLB in Civil Law from the Université de Sherbrooke. She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1991 and joined the legal department of Air Canada in 2002. Prior to joining Air Canada she practised law with Coudert Brothers in Montreal.
