VERONICA TANG is currently Interim Vice President, Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at
WestJet Airlines. In her role, she leads the airline’s overall legal affairs and provides strategic legal advice
and support to the Board and Executive team. She oversees and drives the corporate secretarial
function, and manages the company’s continuous disclosure, corporate governance and corporate
policy and compliance approach. She provides advice on WestJet’s global expansion, business
arrangements and commercial agreements, including, in particular, on fleet, finance, competition,
labour and management-level employment and equity matters. Veronica has been at WestJet since
2012; prior to this, Veronica practiced securities, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions law at
Stikeman Elliott LLP in Calgary. Veronica is a member of the Alberta bar and holds Bachelor of Laws and
Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) degrees from the University of British Columbia.
