MIKE DE SANTIS has over 25 years of industry experience, focusing on credit oriented product. Mike has been active in the Canadian debt private placement market for his entire career and is at the forefront of the development of the Canadian high yield market. He joined TD Securities in 2005 as a Vice President and Director. Prior to joining TD Securities, Mike was responsible for the origination, structuring and distribution of debt securities to the public and private institutional markets in Canada at a major Canadian investment bank. Mike also spent over eleven years as an institutional investor where he was responsible for private placement debt investments in a broad range of sectors including industrial, service, pipeline, transportation and energy. Mike has led transactions for a number of first time and repeat issuers to the public and private markets aggregating several billion dollars. Mike holds a BA in Political Science/History from the University of Toronto and an MBA from The University of Western Ontario.
