Ahmad is a Portfolio Manager on the Private Assets team at the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), based in Ottawa. In his role Ahmad contributes to the development of the Strategic Asset Allocation, performing due diligence on new investments across the Private Assets spectrum, and monitoring existing investments.

Prior to joining the CMPA, Ahmad was a member of the Housing Finance team at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), working on housing finance policy development, with a focus on mortgage-backed securities.

Ahmad is a CFA charterholder, holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Queen’s University, and a Bachelors of International Business from Carleton University.
