Bryan Marcovici is an entrepreneur, executive and strategic thinker, bringing experience in founding, scaling, and advising innovative companies across multiple industries.
As the Co-Founder and CEO of Koru, Bryan has built a pioneering venture studio funded by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP). Working exclusively to accelerate value across the OTPP portfolio, Koru is dedicated to launching disruptive companies, developing new business models, and driving breakout growth through the embrace of emerging technology. Since its founding in late 2019, Koru has launched 12+ companies and worked with dozens of OTPP portfolio assets to unlock novel growth levers.
Currently, Bryan serves on the boards of multiple early & growth stage companies, including FYLD, a leader in field force productivity and safety, Vayda, supporting the mission of increasing regenerative farming to support the future of farming, and ReturnBear, a leader in the Canadian reverse logistics space.
Previously, Bryan co-founded and served as interim CEO of Pumpkin Petcare, a digital-first pet insurance startup that achieved a successful exit. He was the founder of IMAXShift, a tech startup creating advanced fitness entertainment platforms, and has held senior roles at Bridgewater Associates, the Boston Consulting Group, and Oliver Wyman.
