Peter Rizzo is the Director of Residential Facilities at the University at Buffalo, overseeing capital projects, maintenance, and custodial services for 2.5 million square feet of on-campus student housing at the largest institution in the State University of New York system.

Previously, Peter was the Director of Real Estate Development at Clover Development, where he modernized project management systems, implemented financial controls, and streamlined processes to accelerate the company’s expansion in the senior housing market. Prior to this, Peter spent over a decade working for the U.S. government, including at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he supported an $8.5 billion construction program, and in key roles at the U.S. General Services Administration, leading and supporting a diverse array of planning, design, and construction projects and programs.

Peter earned a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Buffalo. He holds certifications in urban planning, auditing, and fraud examination.
