Genevieve is a Partner on the investment team at Renewal Funds, a climate tech venture capital fund investing across North America in platforms and technologies supporting the energy transition, zero waste and sustainable agriculture. Prior to Renewal, Genevieve was a Partner at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, with legal expertise in venture capital, M&A and capital markets transactions. Genevieve holds a BA and LL.B from the University of British Columbia and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2006. Genevieve was a co-founder of the Raise Collective, an organization dedicated to the development and support of women investors and entrepreneurs, and was named to the Women’s Executive Network 2018 Canada’s Top 100 as an Emerging Leader.
