Naomi Racette is a seasoned executive with over seven years experience in finance, operations, and governance across both the for-profit and charitable sectors. A proud Cree Métis from the Qu’Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan, Naomi holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Regina and has dedicated her career to strengthening First Nations communities through strategic leadership and philanthropy.

As the Executive Director of the Future Generations Foundation (FG Foundation), Naomi developed extensive expertise in non-profit governance, strategic development, grant-making, fundraising, and business growth – skill that continue to shape her transformative leadership in Indigenous philanthropy.

Naomi leads with vision and innovation, ensuring First Nations-led initiatives receive the funding and support needed for cultural revitalization, healing, and community development. She oversees large-scale program development, capital asset investment, financial management, and corporate partnerships focused on reconciliation. Under her leadership, FG Foundation has awarded $36.1 million to 8,440 First Nations and Métis individuals, fostering success through self-determined initiatives. Additionally, she has overseen the distribution of $59.7 million to First Nations organizations across Turtle Island, driving sustainable, community-led change.
