Yulena Wan (she/her) was born, raised, and lives in Hamilton, Ontario, the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and works as Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF), overseeing finance, investment and operations. HCF is a leader in philanthropy, working to create a vibrant and inclusive city. HCF has established itself as a national leader in the impact investing, responsible investing, and social finance spaces. For the last 15 years, it has leveraged capital by investing directly into local projects such as social enterprises, lending vehicles for not-for-profits, private equity and other alternative investments. Yulena currently is active on the Board of Directors of SHARE (Shareholder Association for Research & Education) and was previously named a CivicAction DiverseCity Fellow.
