Robin Pilkey joined the CWIPP Board of Trustees in March 2022 as an industry expert. She is also a Director at PortsToronto, which includes Billy Bishop Toronto Centre Airport, where she chairs the Audit and Finance Committee, as well as sitting on the Pensions and Governance committees.

Prior to these current positions, Pilkey was an integral part of the largest school board in Canada’s operations: the Toronto District School Board. Here, she held a Trustee position for eight years and the role of Chair for five. This was no small feat, as the TDSB is home to an annual budget of $3.4 billion, 245,000 students and 584 schools. Pilkey also sat as Chair of the Audit Committee for the United Church of Canada for both the general accounts, and for the multi-employer pension plan with $1.6 million in assets under management. In addition, she spent six years as a Trustee for the Ontario Non-Union Education Trust (ONE-T) Employee Life & Health Trust—serving 15,000 non-unionized employees within the Ontario education sector.
