Lyndsay Brisard is a proud Wiikwemkoong Anishinabe from Manitoulin Island with close ties to the Animbiigoo Zaagi’igan Anishinaabek in northwestern Ontario. As part of the CIB’s investments team, Lyndsay supports the CIB’s Indigenous and northern infrastructure work, advancing projects in partnership with Indigenous communities through the CIB’s Indigenous Community Infrastructure Initiative (ICII) and the Indigenous Equity Initiative (IEI).

With over 10 years of experience across First Nations housing development, social housing management, and infrastructure project finance, Lyndsay is passionate about the advancement and wellbeing of Indigenous communities across Canada and beyond. He is currently a volunteer member of the Board of Directors for the Anishnawbe Health Foundation, an urban Indigenous health foundation in Toronto, and has previously served on boards of other non-profit Indigenous social service agencies and Indigenous economic development organizations.

Lyndsay received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management from York University and holds a Master of Real Estate and Infrastructure (MREI) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
