Alan Nolan is a Product Specialist for LGM, working across all strategies. He has over thirteen years of industry experience, joining LGM in 2016. Alan sits on the LGM investment team and is part of the LGM Investment Board and ESG committee. He is responsible for communicating the investment philosophy & process to clients and their advisors. He also represents LGM on the Performance & Risk Review Committee (PRRC), which reviews the implementation of each portfolio LGM manages from a risk oversight perspective. He previously worked at Pioneer Investments in London as a Product Specialist, covering emerging markets (Equities and Debt) and European high yield. Prior to this, Alan was a Senior Associate in a combined sales and client relationships role at Alliance Bernstein. He spent the first five years of his career at the National Treasury Management Agency in Dublin, where he was an Analyst for the National Pension Reserve Fund, focusing on the selection and monitoring of the investment manager programme. Alan holds a BSc Honours in Financial Maths and Economics from the National University of Ireland, Galway, an MBS in Finance from University College Dublin Michael Smurfit School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.
