Clive Lipshitz is managing partner of Tradewind Interstate Advisors, a consulting firm serving institutional investors and alternative investment management firms. Previously, Clive managed the strategy and product development functions at Credit Suisse Asset Management and at Brookfield, in which capacities he oversaw the launch of 30 new alternative investment businesses. Earlier in his career, Clive invested proprietary capital for a predecessor entity of UBS. He began his career at Price Waterhouse. He has been a guest scholar at Stanford University and at New York University Stern School of Business where he has co-authored studies on pension systems and infrastructure finance. Clive has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor, Pensions & Investments, The Bond Buyer, CIO Magazine, The Hill, and other publications. A native of South Africa, he has had broad work experience across the U.S. and Canada, as well as Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
