Jamie joined Rio Tinto in 2007 and has held his current role of Senior Pension Investment Manager, North America since April 2015. His team is based in Montreal and responsible for the overall investments of the Rio Tinto Group’s North American defined benefit and Canadian capital accumulation plan assets totaling over C$10 billion. In his role, he focuses primarily on the monitoring/selection of external investment managers, plan asset allocation, asset class structure, and risk management. As part of his role, he is also a member of the Rio Tinto America Savings Plan (401K) Investment Committee as well as the US Defined Benefit and Swiss Investment Committees. Jamie also holds both the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designations as well as a B. Comm. (Finance), from McGill University.
