Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Omoumi led equity derivative/structured products sales and structuring teams at both Canadian and global Banks. Most recently, Mr. Omoumi was at UBS responsible for UBS' global equity derivatives product distribution in Canada. Prior to UBS, Mr. Omoumi was at National Bank Financial where he ran an integrated prime brokerage and equity derivatives team, including leading the firms client ETF business. Mr. Omoumi started his career at TD Securities in Toronto where he held a variety positions including head of equity derivative sales for Canada and US where he structured and distributed equity derivative and other structured products to retail and institutional clients.
Mr. Omoumi holds a B.A. Economics from the University of Alberta, an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and is a CFA charterholder.
