Asif brings over 25 years of experience in finance and investments to the CAAT Pension Plan. He is responsible for the CAAT Plan’s public market investments, specifically its equity, fixed income, absolute return, currency hedging and overlay programs. Asif serves as Chair of the Member Services Committee for the Pension Investment Association of Canada, and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Pension Plan of the United Church of Canada. He earned a master’s degree in economics from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.
