Over the past few years, Environmental Social Governance (ESG) has become increasingly common within business lexicon and as an overall business objective. But why? Does ESG, properly applied, create business value? What is the nature of the ESG business proposition, and does this value differ between sectors? And where and how does climate change – both transitional and physical climate risk – factor into the ESG framework? This session will consider these foundational and timely questions.
