The grass roots of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) or SRI (Socially Responsible Investing) is where money was not invested in environmentally and socially irresponsible companies. One example of this goes back 200 years where the Methodist movement protested against investing in companies that made weapons, tobacco, etc.
Our Fireside Chat guest speakers will take an in-depth look at the following:
- History of ESG
- Mitigating greenhouse gas emissions
- Why is ESG applied and how to best apply it?
- How is the investment landscape embracing ESG?
