Kosty Gilis is responsible for Onex Partners’ efforts in the Industrial Manufacturing industries. Since joining Onex, Kosty has worked on several private equity transactions, including the acquisitions of SMG, Clarivate Analytics, WireCo WorldGroup, Emerald Expositions and its subsequent acquisition of GLM, the going-private acquisition of Tomkins, including the subsequent divestitures of the Stackpole, Ideal, Schrader International, Dexter Axle, Air Distribution and Gates businesses from the Tomkins portfolio, as well as the acquisition and subsequent IPO of Allison Transmission.

He serves on the boards of WireCo WorldGroup, Clarivate Analytics and Emerald Expositions and previously served on the boards of Tomkins/Gates and Allison Transmission (NYSE:ALSN). Kosty is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Bishop Strachan School and serves on the board of the Doug Philpott Inner City Children's Tennis Fund.
