As the Director of Business Strategy and Impact Investing at the Metro Vancouver Zero Emissions Innovation Centre (ZEIC), he spearheads initiatives driving market transformation for climate solutions through impact investments and sustainable finance innovations in British Columbia.

Namendra previously served as the Impact Director at Northpine Foundation, where he curated and expanded the Climate and Nature portfolio. His strategic deployment of investments and grants facilitated substantial climate impact through ventures. Prior to this, he played a pivotal role as an Energy Solutions Development Specialist at Johnson Controls, leading national-level efforts in net-zero and decarbonization engineering solutions within the sustainable infrastructure division. His focus spanned diverse vertical markets, including district heating/cooling plants, higher education, public and commercial buildings, water & wastewater plants, and industrial facilities, fostering innovation in energy performance and public-private partnership projects.
Namendra's commitment to community-driven outcomes is evident from his tenure as the Regional Energy Coordinator at Ogemawahj Tribal Council, where he championed energy projects for six First Nations communities.
