Benjamin Reitzes, Canadian Rates and Macro Strategist at BMO Capital Markets, will share his views on 2020, the year of COVID, and the outlook for 2021, the year we put COVID behind us. The outlook for the near-term remains highly uncertain, but whether it’s six or twelve months down the road when the vaccine sees wide distribution, we should be in a much better place. Even so, interest rates will remain at record lows, and the fiscal taps will remain open until well after the pandemic is over.
